Hello Everyone! My name is Pashioune Wilson, I support Business Development with lead capture activities and also support project delivery for our client services. I am thrilled to introduce and highlight one of our new employees. Jazzlyn Mcpherson is Ensemble’s Social Media & Challenge Coordinator intern. It was a pleasure to learn what led Jazzlyn to join Ensemble’s team and her personal interest in moving forward in her professional career working with our team.
Hi Jazzlyn, can you provide a brief description of your work responsibilities in your current role at Ensemble?
I am currently working supporting the delivery team as a social media/challenge coordinator intern. I am responsible for curating social media content for some of Ensemble’s current challenges as well as creating outreach lists to disseminate information to. Currently, I am supporting various U.S. Department of Energy challenges, including the Open Voucher Call and the MSI Contract Readiness program.
What are you currently majoring in?
I am currently majoring in Business Entrepreneurship.
What are some current activities you are involved in at your university?
I am currently involved in the Tropical Expressions dance team where we perform for events, Fashion at Morgan (FAM) where I get to express my fashion sense, and Females United to Uplift Reshape and Educate (F.U.T.U.R.E) where I am able to share ideas and help out within the inner city community of Baltimore.
What led you to join the Ensemble team?
I was referred to Ensemble and became interested in the business after reviewing the job description. My background prior to this role provided me with the skills and experience necessary to contribute effectively to Ensemble. What particularly intrigued me was Ensemble’s collaboration with NASA. The opportunity to be part of a company working with such a prestigious organization was very appealing. I knew I could leverage my skills to add value to Ensemble, especially in areas where my previous experience aligns with the company’s needs.
How do you see your role evolving?
I see my role evolving to take over Ensemble’s social media strategy, helping the company reach its target market more effectively. This includes engaging not just with potential clients, but also with students and professionals who might be interested in internships or career opportunities with us. My goal is to build our following across all platforms, driving more traffic to our website where visitors can learn about our capabilities and accomplishments as a small business. By enhancing our online presence, I aim to showcase what Ensemble can do and the successes we’ve achieved, ultimately supporting our growth and outreach efforts.
What is something that you are hoping to accomplish in your professional career at Ensemble?
I would like to create an effective system that will encourage more attention to our social media and increase our engagement as well as establish company name recognition.
